Cómo establecer el método de compresión preferido mod_deflate para desinflar

mod_deflate siempre envía los datos gzip cuando el Accept-Encoding encabezado de solicitud es gip, deflate.

¿Cómo puedo saber mod_deflate preferir enviar deflate (NO zlib) en lugar de gzip?

Si esto no es posible ... ¿por qué los develpers nombrar el mod_deflate módulo cuando éste no puede desinflar. Además, ¿cuál es la mejor manera, en su caso, para mí que presente un informe de error a haber esta fijo en futuras versiones?

Después de mirar el código fuente href="http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/httpd/httpd/trunk/modules/filters/mod_deflate.c" rel="nofollow"> he llegado a la conclusión de que es imposible enviar otra cosa que no sea gzip.

Ahora, yo no soy un programador c y no creo que seré capaz de cometer cualquier parche a mí mismo ... pero a partir de la fuente puedo ver que hay algunas cosas que necesitan ser corregidos ( advertencia, nunca he dejado c ... así que todo esto es probablemente muy mal)
